VSAT Star Lite Maritime

Service provisioning for communication backhaul systems based on Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation, used to connect access networks located in maritime areas with the core network using a shared bandwidth download system with a contention ratio.
Is There a Reason to Choose VSAT Star Lite? YES!

1. For the backhaul needs of cellular networks connecting Radio Access Network (RAN) such as BTS/NodeB/eNode to the core network of the mobile operator.
2. For the backhaul needs connecting customer networks to the internet network owned by the internet service provider.
3. For the backhaul needs of private IP networks connecting ship networks to the central office network and other necessary requirements if needed.
4. The provided throughput consists of Up Link (UL) bandwidth and proportional Down Link (DL) bandwidth per terminal unit according to the Contention Ratio (CR).
5. There is a minimum number of remote Unit Terminal (UT) devices required to subscribe to VSAT Star Lite Maritime. 

• Near End : Jabodetabek; Far End : Wilayah Indonesia

• Near End : Non Jabodetabek; Far End : Wilayah Indonesia 

• Maximum Information Rate for Download (DL) is the maximum data rate on the download side shared among several terminal units.
• CR is the contention ratio applied on the download side of the maximum data rate service.
• At Contention Ratio 1:16, Guaranteed Throughput DL is 6.25% of BW DL Maximum Information Rate.
• Guaranteed Throughput UL per UT is 12.5% (1:8) of DL Maximum Information Rate.
• For Near End Jabodetabek on VSAT STAR LITE, it is only intended for existing interconnections.
• For Near End Non Jabodetabek on VSAT STAR LITE, it applies to available interconnections or collaboration with partners (GTMA Telkom case).
