Telkomsat Supports the EIRRG Laboratory Team in the Robotics Competition in Singapore

Singapore - The EIRRG Laboratory team from Telkom University supported by Telkomsat won 3rd place in the competition organized by the Singapore Robotics Games (SRG) 2020, on February 5-6, 2020 at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore.

The SRG 2020 event is an annual robotics competition that has been successfully held since 1993. The aim of the competition is to synergize academics and research institutions to advance the field of robotics and automation, and to become a place and ability test for each participant from countries participating in the competition  this.

This year the EIRRG Laboratory Team competed in the "RC Sumo Robot Competition" and "Autonomous Sumo Robot Competition" branches by presenting 2 flagship Robot Sumo.

Robot Sumo is one of the most popular robotic branches in the world, where there are two robots that try to push each other out of the circular arena.  The robot used in this competition is called Sumobots, which has a maximum weight of 3 kg and dimensions of 20 cm x 20 cm.

The EIRRG Laboratory Team's participation is expected to bring Telkom University and Indonesia to the name. In addition, it is expected to help technology development by providing practical robotics research and development results.

Telkomsat is committed to always providing support to the younger generation to always innovate and work in developing science and technology to advance the name of Indonesia in the international arena.
