Telkomsat Supports Connectivity at the 2023 World Aquabike Jetski Championship in Lake Toba
Lake Toba, North Sumatra - In support of the 2023 World Aquabike Jetski Championship, which took place from November 22 to 26, 2023, at Lake Toba, North Sumatra, Telkomsat, a subsidiary of the largest state-owned telecommunication company in Indonesia, played an active role in providing high-quality connectivity services.
The championship, organized by H2O Racing Ltd on behalf of the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), has been a prestigious event since 1992. This year's event took place at four main locations in Lake Toba: Balige, Samosir, Silahisabungan, and Tongging. Featuring various racing categories like roundabout, ski GP, freestyle, parallel slalom, endurance, and special ski ladies plus evening slalom, the championship was attended by 118 international athletes and 10 local athletes.

This service is a communication system based on a low earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation used as enterprise-class unlimited connectivity with low latency equivalent to fiber optics, and its benefits are already being felt by various customer segments including enterprise, government, and maritime.
