Telkomsat Satellite Telecommunications Services Support TNI Performance in the Hinterlands

Jakarta - January 7, 2020, Telkomsat supports PT Telkom Indonesia in collaboration with the Headquarters of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) to provide satellite transponder bandwidth throughout 2020.

 This cooperation contract will last for twelve months and will commence on January 1, 2020. From this cooperation, it is hoped that the provision of telecommunications through the Telkomsat satellite can support the TNI's performance in carrying out its duties, especially for soldiers in the 3T areas (Outermost, Frontier, &  Left behind).

The signing was carried out by GM MPS (Military and Police Services) Telkom - Jhon Hendry, VP Telkom Government - Mohammad Salsabil, Askomlek Commander of the TNI Laksda TNI Lutfi Syaefullah, and Col. Chb Sonny Wellem Pondaag, and attended by Directors and Senior Leaders Telkomsat and representatives from the TNI Laksda Lutfi Syaefullah, and Col. Chb Sonny Wellem Pondaag, and attended by Directors and Senior Leaders Telkomsat and representatives from the TNI Laksda Lutfi Syaefullah, and Col. Chb Sonny Wellem Pondaag, and attended by Directors and Senior Leaders Telkomsat  TNI.

Telecommunications network through satellite is a medium that is quite safe in communication and has a wider range than other media.  So that satellite services are considered to be able to support the TNI's performance in carrying out tasks both regionally and internationally.
