Telkomsat Provides Satellite Communication System Training to Pasis SeskoAU
Cibinong, Bogor - In order to provide knowledge and insight regarding the satellite communication system, Telkomsat held a training which was attended by the 59th Air Force Command School Student Officers (Pasis SeskoAU). The work lecture activities were centered at the Satellite Master Control Station, Klapanunggal, Bogor, on Tuesday (23/08).
The event was also attended by Marsekal Muda TNI Minggit Tribowo, S.I.P., Air Force Sesko Lecturers and Officers, Student Officers, CMO of Telkomsat - Andri Yunianto and Telkomsat Senior Leaders.
In his remarks, Andri expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and trust given to TelkomGroup, especially Telkomsat, to provide training related to communication services via satellite to Pasis Seskoau Batch 59th.
“The friendly relationship between Telkom and Air Force Headquarters has existed for a long time, in terms of service collaboration and in supporting activities and tasks to maintain the security of the Republic of Indonesia. Telkom as a BUMN engaged in the field of TIMES (Telecommunication, Information, Media, Edutainment, Services) feels that it has a role and responsibility to support these activities and tasks.” said Andri.
Furthermore, it is explained that the use of Information Technology and Systems is an enabler in terms of the connectivity of all state structures, which includes government institutions, especially the Indonesian National Army, Air Force, business and society.
On that occasion also explained "Telkomsat Supports the Indonesian Defense System" by AVP Business Portfolio Strategy Telkomsat - Safarudin, which was followed by a question and answer session and ended with a review of facilities located at the Telkomsat office, including the customer care transponder room, satellite control operation, and antenna farm.
Telkomsat hopes to continue to support the Indonesian Air Force in creating a strong national defense system.
