Telkomsat Presents Reliable Satellite Services at the 2023 SKK Migas-KKKS TI RAKER Event
Yogyakarta - As a satellite-based telecommunications service provider specialized in end-to-end solutions, Telkomsat actively participated in the 2023 SKK Migas-KKKS TI Working Meeting held in Yogyakarta from May 9th to 11th, 2023.
The theme "Digitalization of Upstream Oil and Gas to Improve Performance and Efficiency Through Cloud and Machine Learning Technologies," Telkomsat took this opportunity to introduce two of its latest products and services, namely VSAT Star and MangoStar.
VSAT Star is a communication access service based on Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation with high reliability. This service is specifically designed to connect the access network with the core network. The advantages of VSAT Star are particularly suitable for the oil and gas industry as it is supported by satellite redundancy systems and earth station redundancy. With data speeds of up to 500 Mbps per point, this service is capable of meeting the need for reliable and fast connectivity in the day-to-day operations of the oil and gas industry.
On the other hand, Telkomsat also introduced MangoStar, a true unlimited broadband internet access service using low Earth orbit satellite technology. This service offers extremely low latency and is aimed at customers in the SME (Small Medium Enterprise), enterprise, and government segments. With MangoStar, customers can enjoy high-quality internet connections that enhance productivity and support digital transformation in various sectors.
