Telkomsat Powers Connectivity at Pusat Latihan Sepak Bola Nasional's Ground Breaking Event
Jakarta - Telkomsat through its satellite service, MangoStar, provided full support in ensuring unhindered connectivity during the ground breaking event for the project to build a Pusat Latihan Sepak Bola Nasional(National Training Center) in the Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) of the Nusantara, Friday (22/9/2023 ).
This event received national attention when President Joko Widodo carried out the groundbreaking procession. The Head of State said that the National Training Center at IKN would function not only as a training center for football athletes, but also as a forum for innovation for Indonesian football. Built on an area of 34.5 hectares, this training center is expected to become a new milestone in the progress of football in the country.
To ensure smooth communication and data transmission during the event, Telkomsat presents the MangoStar service, a service providing a communication system based on a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites which is capable of providing unlimited enterprise-class connectivity with very low latency. This service has download access speeds of up to 180 Mbps and uploads of up to 20 Mbps.
Arya Mahendra Sinulingga, Special Staff III to the Minister of BUMN and Commissioner of Telkom, appreciated MangoStar's service while at the event location. "Currently I am at IKN, the signal here is fully supported by Telkomsat. You can see, the signal is very strong. This is thanks to the service from Telkomsat," said Arya.
CEO of Telkomsat, Lukman Hakim Abd. Rauf, also expressed his pride in MangoStar's support in this event. “Today's event is not only a symbol of the progress of our football infrastructure, but also a demonstration of technological capabilities and powerful connectivity. Through MangoStar, Telkomsat wants to show that we are ready to support every step forward in this country with high-quality communication services," said Lukman Hakim Abd. Rauf.
