Telkomsat Hosts the Asian Games and Asian Para Games Task Force Reunion

Jakarta - Telkomsat hosted the “Asian Games & Asian Para Games Task Force Reunion” which was held in Jakarta, on Wednesday (17/08). The event, which coincided with the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, was attended by the Telkom Group Task Force Team who had contributed to the success of the Asian Games & Asian Para Games 2018.

The activity which started at 11.00 WIB, began with the watching a documentary video on the journey of Telkomsat and the Task Force Team in overseeing the Asian Games and Asian Games grand event. The 4-minute video was really moving and proud considering that Telkomsat and the Task Force Team were part of the success of the Asian Games. 2018. At that time, Telkomsat had succeeded in providing international standard broadcasting infrastructure and services with satisfactory quality.

There are three Telkomsat services that are operated to serve the ICT needs of the Asian Games, namely: SNG (Satellite News Gathering), TV Uplink and Adaptation devices. With these three devices, Telkomsat has succeeded in broadcasting the entire Asian Games broadcast smoothly to all corners of the country and abroad.

After watching the video playback, the event continued with remarks from the CEO of Telkomsat - Lukman Hakim Abd. Rauf, who at the time of the event served as Head of Operations & Maintenance. In his remarks, he shared his experience of being directly involved in overseeing the smooth running of operational and broadcast activities, and he also had an unforgettable experience because he was able to establish synergies with many people and foreign media from various countries.

In addition, he also hopes that the spirit of the Asian Games and Asian Para Games will remain in the members of the Task Force to continue to give the best contribution to TelkomGroup.

In addition to remarks from the Head of Operations & Maintenance, other remarks were also delivered by the Head of the Asian Games Task Force - Mohammad Salsabil, Deputy Chair of the Asian Games Task Force - Teuku Muda Nanta, and ended with remarks from INASGOC Broadcast Director - Linda Wahyudi.

Through this reunion, it is hoped that the synergy of the members of the Task Force can be maintained. In addition, the success and achievements of the Asian Games and Asian Para Games are expected to be lessons learned and can be an inspiration for the younger generation to continue to provide the best for the company and TelkomGroup in particular.
