Telkomsat Holds the "Telkomsat Peduli" Program
On March 3-4, 2021, Telkomsat again held the "Telkomsat Peduli" program as a form of social care for others and an expression of the company's gratitude for being able to survive amid the current pandemic situation. A total of 190 basic food packages originating from the fundraising for Telkomsat employees were distributed to beneficiaries while still implementing the Health protocol.
This staple food is distributed to workers such as office boys, security, drivers and gardener who have been instrumental in helping employees carry out their daily operational activities in all Telkomsat offices in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok and those outside the region.
In addition, this basic food is also distributed to informal workers who are around the Telkomsat operational office. These informal workers consist of cleaners, online motorcycle taxi drivers and security guards.
According to VP Corporate Secretary, Mohamad Ramdan, "The Telkomsat Peduli program is part of AKHLAK core values, we care for each other and always maintain a HARMONIC relationship and hope that this assistance can ease the burden on part of the community amid the pandemic."
He also appealed to always take Covid-19 prevention by always adhering to the 5M (wearing a mask, keeping your distance, washing hands, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility) and also downloading the PeduliLindungi application to increase awareness of the surrounding environment.
Telkomsat hopes that the corporate culture that is instilled in the company, especially the culture of caring for others, can become a good habit for employees and through this activity it can bring blessings to the company, so it is hoped that the presence of Telkomsat can benefit the surrounding environment, nation and country.
