Telkomsat Holds Firebriefing: Organizational Transformation & Strengthen Employee Competence

Bogor, August 24, 2023 - Located at the Telkomsat Bogor Office, Telkomsat successfully held a Firebriefing event related to the ongoing organizational transformation, especially at the Telkomsat Operations Directorate. The event was attended by the CEO of Telkomsat, Director of Development (CDO) of Telkomsat who also concurrently serves as PGS Director of Operations (CTO) of Telkomsat, Senior Leaders, and all employees of the Directorate of Operations of Telkomsat.
 
This meeting aims to encourage the development of the skills of Telkomsat Operations Directorate employees in order to increase competence and productivity in the workplace, amidst the ongoing organizational transformation. After this Firebriefing, it is hoped that employees will be able to identify key areas that require more attention, formulate effective development strategies, and determine implementation steps that will help employees achieve their full potential and will have a positive impact on the Company,
 
The event began with a Welcome Speech from PGS Telkomsat Director of Operations, Anggoro Kurnianto Widiawan. He gave an explanation that currently Telkomsat is going through the stage of organizational transformation with a better order. Now the Operations Directorate has been divided into 2 sub-directors, namely SMO (Service Management Operation) and RMO (Resource Management Operation).
 
The event continued with remarks from the Main Director of Telkomsat, Lukman Hakim Abd. Rauf. In his direction, he explained that KPI (Key Performance Indicator) is a benchmark for employee performance, meaning that with KPIs it will be seen how effective the organization is in achieving the main objectives of the company's business.
 
Furthermore, the event was filled with presentations from EGM RMO Telkomsat, Suroso Yulianto and EGM SMO Telkomsat, Joko Sarwono. In his presentation, he explained the progress of consolidation in the SMO and RMO Sub-Directorates as a follow-up to the organizational transformation that occurred in the Operations Directorate, the main program in each sub-directorate, as well as the support needed.
 
In the question and answer session, the Main Director of Telkomsat explained about the application of the "21/90 rule". This concept emphasizes the formation of positive habits and lifestyle. That is, if we have a desire, we must commit to make it happen for 21 consecutive days without stopping. After the 21 day period has passed, the practice should be continued until it reaches the 90th day. By applying the "21/90 rule", we can create new positive habits.
 
Through this event, Telkomsat hopes that with a spirit of collaboration and strong commitment from all employees, the company will continue to make even more glorious achievements in the future. By exploiting the potential and creativity of each individual, management believes that Telkomsat will continue to grow, explore new opportunities, and make an increasingly positive contribution to the telecommunications industry.
