Telkomsat Held ISO 27000:2013 Audit
Bogor – As a measure to comply with the provisions of the Information Security Management System standard required by customers and the law on information security, Telkomsat held an internal audit of ISO 27000:2013 certification, which took place on 14 - 22 February 2022.
The audit was conducted virtually and was attended by CTO of Telkomsat - Anggoro Kurnianto Widiawan, senior leaders, and Telkomsat employees.
The purpose of this internal audit is to assist management in detecting non-conformances and taking action in implementing ISO 27000-2013. During the audit, the auditor and auditee discussed several findings which were divided into: Major (conformance), Minor (non-conformance) and Observations.
ISO 27001:2013 is an international standard in implementing an information security management system or also commonly known as an Information Security Management System (ISMS). This ISMS is an interrelated element with the company that is used to manage and control information security risks to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
With the implementation of this audit, it shows that Telkomsat is committed to continuously improving and maintaining information security for the smooth running of the company's business.
