Telkomsat Becomes Speaker at the 2019 APSAT International Conference

Jakarta - Telkomsat also participated in the success of the 2019 Asia Pacific Satellite Conference (APSAT) conference on June 25-26 2019, at the Fairmont Hotel Jakarta. The event, which is routinely held every year and supported by the international telecommunications community, professionals and government institutions, carries the theme "Beyond Connection".

The conference was organized by the Asosiasi Satelit Indonesia (ASSI) and was used as a medium for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, seeking new opportunities and updating information about the development of the satellite industry. For 18 years APSAT has played an important role in determining how satellites will shape the future of Indonesia's telecommunications and the Asia Pacific region.

Chief Development Officer Telkomsat - Andy Revara, also represented Telkomsat in a panel discussion that raised the topic of the satellite business perspective in Indonesia.

The event was also attended by the Chief Executive Officer of Telkomsat - Tonda Priyanto, Chief Technology Officer - Endi Fitri Herlianto, VP of Strategic Business Development - Anggoro K. Widiawan, VP of Network Operation - Ali Rusli, and several representatives from other satellite companies.

the first day, the conference focused on the business and satellite markets, which began with panel discussions by international satellite players, and also discussed technologies in industry 4.0. On the second day, the discussion discussed the latest information on High Throughput Satellites (HTS) and Non-geostationary (NGSO).

VP Strategic Business Development - Anggoro K. Widiawan hopes that with the participation of Telkomsat in the APSAT conference, it can build synergies with other leading satellite companies.
