Telkomsat and TNI, Conduct Testing of "HT Satellite" devices
Bogor, August 18, 2022 - To support telecommunications needs in every mission carried out, Telkomsat and TNI tested the HT Satellite. This portable device is a product of Telkomsat that uses a two-way radio system and uses the Iridium satellite network. The existence of this device is considered very suitable to support the communication of TNI in remote and isolated areas.
The device testing was carried out in several remote locations in the Bogor area. The event was also attended by KAHUB Kopassus - Letkol CHB Setyo Budi Nugroho, Kabag Jaringan Binkom Pushubad - Letkol CHB Sigit Nugroho, AM Telkom MPS - Ikhwan Indra Putra, SAM Goverment Service Telkomsat - Widy Sulistiano, AM Goverment Service Telkomsat - Adhe Ilham Hawari, Engineer SD Telkomsat - Agung Anindito Putro and the Telkomsat Engineer team.
On this occasion, TNI learned and observed the Telkomsat Team testing the Satellite HT device.Starting from checking the completeness of the unit, introducing tools, operating the dashboard, to direct function testing. During the direct testing of HT Satellite equipment, TNI and Telkomsat Team carried out trials to the Gunung Pancar, Bogor.
TNI responds favorably to the HT Satellite from Telkomsat, this is because through this device the TNI Team can improve the competence of personnel related to satellite technology, security and knowledge of telecommunication equipment.
