CTO Telkomsat Becomes Speaker in UGM Electronics and Instrumentation Seminar
On Saturday, June 13, 2020, Telkomsat collaborated with the Electronic Research and Instrumentation Laboratory DIKE of UGM hold an Electronic Seminar and Instrumentation Seminar (SEMILINS) with the theme "The Role of Satellites in Industrial Era 4.0". Conducted online via Video Conference, the event which lasted for two hours received a positive response from the audience.
The seminar began at 10:00 WIB until 12.00 WIB, presenting 2 speakers who were experts in providing information on the development of the satellite industry, namely Director of Operations Telkomsat - Dr. Anggoro Kurnianto Widiawan, Ph.D. and Dr. Agfianto Eko Putro, M.Sc as Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of IKE FMIPA UGM.
The presentation of the first session was delivered by Dr. Anggoro, explained about the role of Satellites in Industry 4.0 as the first frontier. In addition, he also discussed the characteristics of satellites and their advantages in the Industrial 4.0 Era.
The second session was presented by Dr. Agfianto Eko Putro, M.Sc., in his presentation he explained related to INSPIRE 2010 (Indonesian Nano Satellite Platform Initiative for Research and Education). He also talked about the experience and development of the Nano Satellite Prototype from 2010 to the present.
Telkomsat hopes to share knowledge and knowledge related to the role of satellites in the development of industry 4.0 to students and the wider community which is expected to bring Indonesia to become a superior, outstanding and innovative nation, and in line with Telkomsat's Vision "Be the Leading of Satellite Service Provider in the Region" who care about the environment, the nation and state of Indonesia.
