Telkomsat with PMI Successfully Organizes Blood Donation
Bogor - Telkomsat collaborates with the PMI to hold a blood donation event on February 27, 2023. The event, which took place at Telkomsat Bogor Office Building, was attended by more than 100 Telkomsat employees, members of the community, and business partners.
The blood donation activity began with a health examination and hemoglobin level check by the PMI medical team. Participants who were deemed healthy and met the criteria for blood donation then underwent the blood-taking process conducted by the PMI medical team.
AVP Corporate Communication & Office Support Telkomsat, Sinai Handayani, stated that the blood donation activity is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which is routinely conducted to assist PMI Bogor in providing sufficient blood supply to help people in need. "We hope that through this activity, we can foster the spirit of sharing and social concern among Telkomsat employees, and also help meet the stock availability of PMI Bogor's blood supply so that it can be easily obtained when there are people in need," she said.
Meanwhile, one of the PMI Bogor Blood Donor Unit team members, Asri, appreciated the collaboration with Telkomsat in organizing the blood donation activity. "We thank Telkomsat for actively participating in this blood donation activity. Adequate blood supply is essential to meet the need for blood transfusions for patients in need," Asri said.
During the blood donation activity, more than 60 bags of blood were successfully collected, which will be stored and distributed by PMI to various hospitals and health centers in Bogor and its surrounding areas.
