Telkomsat Returns to Participate in the International Exhibition, Inamarine 2019
Jakarta - As a satellite-based telecommunications service provider company, Telkomsat is participating in an international scale exhibition, the Inamarine Expo 2019, which will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.
The exhibition as well as the seminar is a maritime, shipping and offshore industry exhibition held for the 9th time with the theme "Strategy and Challenge: ASEAN Port & Maritime Industry 4.0", from 28 to 30 August 2019.
At this event, Telkomsat had the opportunity to introduce maritime products and services in the form of integrated service solutions for maritime telecommunications, such as: internet on board (Coconnet), and Vessel Information System (VIS) to monitor logistics and vessel movements.
According to Seam Maritime, Oil and Gas, and Aviation Telkomsat, Tjatur Prasetyo said, through this exhibition Telkomsat hopes to attract maritime business people and maritime ecosystems in Indonesia to be able to use Telkomsat products and services in each of their business activities.
On the same occasion, Telkomsat presented its newest service, the Ultra Small Aperture Terminal (USAT). This service is able to stabilize the direction of pointing to the destination satellite even though the platform where the antenna is moving. Thus, the need for telecommunications services offshore and in the middle of the sea can run smoothly.
This service targets small vessels, both on a regional and coastal scale in the fisheries and offshore sectors for efforts to modernize the fishing industry, ship management and to improve the quality of life and welfare of millions of seamen.
As is known, Telkomsat has focused the company's business on the maritime industry. And until now Telkomsat continues to develop its services to welcome the 4.0 industry with technological innovations for the sustainability of its customers' businesses to run well.
