Telkomsat Performance Continues to Increase

Jakarta - The business of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) for satellite services managed by a subsidiary of PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat), continues to show encouraging performance.

Telkomsat President Director, Tonda Priyanto, revealed that the company's financial performance has continued to grow continuously in the past five years with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in the past five years for revenues of 31.5% and Earning Before Interest Tax Depreciation Amortization (EBITDA) of 58.2 %.

"In 2017, revenues from Telkomsat amounted to Rp. 596 billion. Until the third quarter of 2018, Rp. 386 billion had been," said Tonda during a Hearing Meeting of the Deputy of Financial Services Business, Survey services, and BUMN Ministry Consultants and Telkom with the Commission. VI.

He explained, during the last four years investment from Telkomsat always grew with a CAGR of 22.4%. In 2017 the investment value reaches Rp. 119 billion.

Telkomsat is the result of consolidation results from all satellite businesses by Telkom. Telkomsat business was managed by Patrakom, Metrasat, and Telkom's enterprise division.

With the vision of "Be The Leading of Satellite Service Providers in The Region", Telkomsat is confident that it can move towards the top 10 largest satellite companies in the Asia Pacific.
