Telkomsat Introduces Satellite Services to Students
Bogor - Telkom University students visit Telkomsat Satellite Transmission Headquarters on Jl. K.H. Soleh Iskandar KM 6, Bogor. The visit was received directly by Director of Operations, and the team, Tuesday (6/16).
The students plan to implement PKL for 30 days in the Telkomsat office. In his remarks, the Director of Operations welcomed the students and explained each work unit in Telkomsat. Anggoro hopes that the implementation of PKL can provide experience and benefits in supporting their careers in the future.
"We hope that students can take advantage of this moment to explore as much knowledge as possible, so that they can support their careers in the future." He said.
Next, the material presentation continued with the introduction of Telkomsat delivered by the Corporate Communication team. In his presentation, the Corporate Communication team explained a brief history of the formation of Telkomsat, Vision and Mission, Telkomsat Culture to the introduction of products and the total solutions offered by Telkomsat.
In addition to the material presentation, the students had the opportunity to visit the NOC monitoring room, and visit the VSAT & HTS antenna location in the Telkomsat office yard accompanied by the Network Operations team. During the visit, the students seemed very enthusiastic and really used the time available to study and ask questions regarding Telkomsat products and services.
As part of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program, this activity is expected to benefit students by giving them the opportunity to work / PKL at Telkomsat's satellite office, so that they can be equipped when they have a career in the future.
