Telkomsat held a sharing session to support programs from KEMDIKBUD
Bogor - To support the government's program in improving the competence of students, Telkomsat held a sharing session with the theme "Astronomy in Everyday Life and Its Impact to Satellite Industry". This event is part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program which was attended by ITB Astronomy Students.
This event was held virtually, featuring CTO of Telkomsat Anggoro K. Widiawan, Ph.D as a resource person, MBKM Internship Team, and attended by all Telkomsat Employees, on June 26, 2021.
In the opening of this event, the CTO of Telkomsat welcomed the holding of this event. Furthermore, he also provides an overview of the energy transformation in the solar system, electronics and astromy science, as well as aerospace technologies.
After listening to the material from the CTO of Telkomsat, the next event is a presentation from each student. These students presented a presentation on Star Evolution that starts from the formation and development of stars to the future of the sun.
In addition, the students also described presentations on space weather and solar storm predictions related to the aerospace world. At the end of the session, participants were invited to get to know the age of NGC 5466 cluster with isochrome fittings that are very interesting.
The two-hour event received a positive response from the participants, as evidenced by the many questions the comments field during the live stream.
With this program, Telkomsat will continue to support various government programs in an effort to educate the nation through various knowledge owned by experts at Telkomsat.
