Bogor, March 13, 2026 – In support of TelkomGroup’s service readiness during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) 1447H period, Telkomsat, together with TelkomGroup, held the RAFI Post Kick-Off on March 13, 2026. This initiative aims to ensure TelkomGroup’s operational readiness in anticipating the surge in public telecommunications service demand, particularly throughout Ramadan and at its peak during Eid al-Fitr.

The Kick-Off event was conducted in a hybrid format and attended by all TelkomGroup subsidiaries and Telkom Regional units. Representing Telkomsat were Acting President Director Rizal Ahmad Fauzi; EGM Infrastructure Operation Suroso Yulianto; GM Regional Joko Dwi Wijayanto; GM Service Deployment RF Budi Hasto; along with other Telkomsat senior leaders.

The RAFI Post will operate from March 13 to March 30, 2026. During this period, Telkomsat has deployed 262 personnel on 24-hour standby to monitor services, handle disruptions, and ensure the reliability of its satellite network. The operations are centralized at the Telkomsat Satellite Transmission Headquarters in Bogor and the Main Satellite Control Station in Cibinong.

Throughout the RAFI period, Telkomsat is also conducting intensive monitoring of satellite readiness, control systems, ground segments, VSAT HUBs, as well as IP and data communication networks to ensure optimal service performance in response to increased connectivity demands. In addition, supporting equipment readiness has been strengthened through the provision of spare equipment and enhanced operational support across various regions to maintain service continuity.

Through the RAFI 2026 Standby Post, Telkomsat remains committed to delivering reliable and responsive satellite services to support national connectivity needs—particularly for government sectors, industries, and communities in remote areas—ensuring seamless communication throughout the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period.
